Individual Supervision
If you’re a mental health therapist who’s completed their EMDR training and now feels frozen, second-guessing yourself every time you think about using it—you’re in the right place.
There can be a significant gap between completing EMDR training and feeling confident enough to use it comfortably in practice.
You may be wondering where to start, concerned about missing signs of dissociation, unsure when or how to introduce bilateral stimulation, or finding that the protocol feels far less straightforward in the therapy room than it did in training. Many therapists also find themselves questioning their clinical decisions when working with more complex presentations.
This is a common part of the learning process.
I work with therapists who want to feel more grounded, confident, and clinically clear in their EMDR practice. As an EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner (Consultant-in-Training), I understand how challenging it can be to leave training with a wealth of information, yet still feel uncertain about how to apply it in a way that feels natural, safe, and consistent with your own therapeutic style.
My role is to help bridge that gap—supporting you to translate knowledge into practice, strengthen your clinical decision-making, and develop confidence in using EMDR with the clients you see every day.
My Background
My clinical background spans adolescents, young adults, and adults across a range of presentations. I bring a neurodiversity-affirming, responsive lens to both my therapy and supervision work.
Alongside my clinical work, I am particularly passionate about supporting therapists as they begin integrating EMDR into practice. I love the early stages of the journey—the questions about where to start, how to formulate cases, when to use bilateral stimulation, and how to move from training knowledge to real-world clinical confidence.
I also have a special interest in Perinatal EMDR, supporting therapists to navigate the complexity of fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, and early parenting presentations with greater clarity and confidence.
Many therapists leave EMDR training excited but unsure. They worry about getting it wrong, missing something important, or whether they are truly ready to use the model with clients. It can feel complex, overwhelming, and difficult to know where to begin.
I remember that experience well.
It is one of the reasons I love this work. There is something incredibly rewarding about helping therapists move from hesitation and uncertainty to feeling grounded, capable, and confident in their use of EMDR. Seeing that confidence develop—and watching EMDR become an integrated, natural part of their clinical practice—is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.
