Accredited EMDR Practitioner | Perinatal Psychologist | Board-Approved Supervisor

I am a Perinatal Psychologist and Trauma Therapist with nearly 20 years in the mental health sector, including 12 years practicing as a psychologist. My particular niche area is in providing Perinatal EMDR; this means supporting people at all stages of parenthood to recover from trauma and adversity. This includes:

Perinatal Trauma: Infant & child loss, distress related to fertility challenges, pregnancy difficulties, birth difficulties, birth trauma and medical trauma.

Perinatal Psychology: Mood difficulties (pre-conception - pregnancy - parenthood), including: anxiety, postpartum depression, stress, worry, overwhelm and maternal rage.

I also support professionals & first responders whom are seeking EMDR therapy.

I am passionate about all things EMDR in general - I could talk under water about it! I have been blessed to learn off many amazing consultants and am grateful for this guidance.

Truthfully, I found it overwhelming to integrate EMDR into my practice initially – but, as it turns out EMDR has been the greatest gift of my career. With this in mind, I am passionate about supporting new and upcoming EMDR therapists to develop their skills and confidence in application of EMDR to perinatal contexts.
